Artist Bio.
Jacob Crater is a contemporary art and event photographer based in Denton, Texas. His compositions explore themes of body dysmorphia, self-worth, intimacy, memory, and even nostalgia through long exposure, photo layering, and he bounces between color and black and white photography.
Craters work has been displayed in the UNT College of Visual Arts and Design exhibitions from Parallax Spring 2024, Parallax Winter 2024 and 2025 exhibitions to CVAD Celebrates, and even Photo 1, Photo 2, and Documentary class exhibitions in the photo hallway.
He currently splits his time between freelance photography where he takes on clients for headshots, senior portraits, weddings, etc.. and his art photography practice at UNT where he is currently exploring themes of nostalgia and childhood.
